Hydration Station

A light and refreshing gel-cream, containing benchmark moisturizing glycerin and ectoine, an exceptional protective ingredient, for plumped, radiant and healthy skin.

A lightweight, refreshing gel cream that goes beyond the basics, providing not only hydration, but also protection and soothing for the skin. With a moderate amount of 5% glycerin, the formula is enriched with moisturizers that work in synergy with glycerin: a new-generation molecule called Isosorbide Dicaprylate and a trio of sugars, marketed as Aquaxyl, which facilitate the transport of glycerin across the epidermis (by regulating Aquaporin-3) and strengthen the skin barrier by stimulating the skin's production of natural ceramides.

With 1% Ectoin, the formula hydrates and soothes the skin while protecting it from various environmental stresses such as pollution, oxidative stress, blue and visible light. A healthy dose of allantoin and bisabolol, two classic soothing ingredients, further enhances the calming effect of the "Hydration Station".

Special feature of the formula:
The Hydration Station formula is also notable for its absence of three common ingredient groups found in almost all moisturizers: fatty alcohols, fatty acids, and silicones. While there's nothing wrong with these ingredients (and some are used in our other cream, Happier Barrier), we know that some skin types can be bothered by them, making it difficult to find a good product without them. If you find that most "normal" moisturizers cause breakouts, or if you have a skin condition related to Malassezia fungi (Malassezia folliculitis, also known as fungal acne or seborrheic dermatitis), Hydration Station might be the perfect formula for you.

Suitable for almost anyone looking for a soothing, lightweight gel cream for normal, combination, or oily skin. Especially recommended if conventional moisturizers tend to cause breakouts or if you have a skin condition related to Malassezia fungi.
